Alex Díaz
CO-FOUNDER & CEO
Alex Díaz is a lifelong Latino storyteller. As a veteran television showrunner, he has created and executive produced series for networks and studios like Disney, Warner Bros., and Fox Network, all while expanding roles for Latinos in Hollywood behind and in front of the camera. Recently, he created the hit Apple TV series Surfside Girls, which centered a Latino family in California. Holding a B.A. from Harvard and an M.F.A. in Film & TV from UCLA, Díaz is an expert at commercial storytelling and narrative strategy. His creative and entrepreneurial pedigree is anchored by his extensive community-building experience gained during his tenure as Director of Narrative for the National Hispanic Institute.
Xavier A. Gutierrez is the chairman and CEO of ImpactX Sports Group LLC, a private investment and strategic advisory firm focused on the global sports industry. He previously served as CEO of the Arizona Coyotes NHL franchise and was the first Latino CEO in the history of the NHL. With degrees from Harvard and Stanford, his 30-plus-year career spans leadership in private equity, finance, real estate, law, and sports. In 2024, he co-founded LiS: Latinos in Sports, a multi-strategy platform to promote and support the impact of Latinos to the global sports industry. Gutierrez has served on the boards of and been honored by the Commercial Bank of California; ARCTOS Northstar Acquisition Group, Janus International Group, Trinitas Capital Management; SUMA Capital, Aspen Institute Latinos & Society, SEO, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

Julie Sagalowsky Díaz

Julie brings 20 years of experience as a writer and executive producer in television and advertising. She has created television series for Apple TV, Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. and has produced marketing campaigns and branded content for brands including Procter & Gamble. Additionally, she is a seasoned manager of physical production on TV series, documentaries, IMAX films, and major feature films. Julie is a member of the Television Academy of Arts & Sciences, as well as the Writer’s Guild of America, West. She is also a full-time soccer mom.
